As our reputation spreads as a leader in swallow study procedures, we are experiencing tremendous growth. As such, we are in need of second full-time Patient Scheduler in the Apex, NC area. The Schedulers will work in conjunction with each other to ensure all patients are successfully booked in a timely, efficient and effective manner for our traveling Speech Language Pathologists who are located across the east coast.
The Patient Scheduler will be expected to triage and schedule a high volume of referrals using strategic and decisive methods, such as mapping tools, to maximize customer satisfaction, the speech language pathologist’s time, as well as maintaining company goals.
This person will face scheduling challenges including scheduling changes, working within specific time constraints, and managing unexpected incidents. Therefore, organization, focus, and attention to detail is key. The Patient Scheduler must be able to juggle several Speech Language Pathologist’s schedules at once and communicate scheduling changes to our therapists in the field. The Patient Scheduler is the liaison between our customer and our therapists. Customers are expected to be communicated with professionally, courteously and promptly. The candidate we are looking for will be a team player, self-starter, as well as have the ability to problem solve logically, critically, and independently.
Our customers refer via phone, text, and email, therefore computer proficiency is required for data entry functions and utilizing our company information systems. This candidate will be provided a company Mac and iPhone to conduct the responsibilities of this position. This position is based out of our Apex NC office, however if circumstances lend, can be done as an “at home work” position. To be eligible, the employee must be able to provide proof of an active secure internet connection and a stable work environment free of distractions to provide our clients with efficient and caring service.
- High school degree required
- College-level course work preferred
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Experience dispatching multiple personnel for pre-scheduled appointments highly preferred
