Stuart is a University of Redlands graduate who has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 1992. He founded CSP in 1996 in order to bring FEES® services to patients’ bedside. He is an accomplished geek specializing in software and TV production.

Kristin
M.S., CCC-SLP | Chief Operating Officer
Graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Kristin has been a practicing SLP since 1999 working with adults and specializing in traumatic brain injury. Kristin joined CSP in 2008. She enjoys working for CSP because everybody is passionate about providing quality care to patients. Kristin lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and 3 boys. She spends most of her spare time at a baseball field rooting for her sons’ teams.

Michele
CPA, MAC, BSBA | Chief Financial Officer
Michele graduated from the business school at UNC Chapel Hill before completing her Master’s in Accounting at N.C. State. She has worked in the accounting field for over 20 years as an auditor, controller and business owner before joining Carolina Speech Pathology. Michele lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and 3 boys. When she isn’t navigating financial reports, she is either on a soccer field or enjoying the North Carolina mountains.

Selena
MS, CCC-SLP, BCS-S | Director of Educational Resources
Selena has worked in the field of Medical Speech Pathology since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. Joining CSP in 2009, Selena currently serves as Director of Educational Resources while continuing to carry an active mobile FEES caseload. She is passionate about coordinating high-quality, evidence-based educational opportunities for SLPs. Selena became a Board Certified Specialist in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders in 2015 and has received multiple ACE continuing education awards. She has been featured on Swallow Your Pride Podcast (Episodes 18 and 162) and has presented on FEES and dysphagia-related topics at the state and national levels. Selena volunteers on committees within ASHA and ABSSD. When away from work, Selena enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Kristin
M.A., CCC-SLP | Director of Clinical Services
Kristin attended Temple University for graduate school and the University of Pittsburgh for undergrad. She has been a practicing SLP since 2002, working with children and adults with dysphagia and feeding disorders in acute care and outpatient settings. She joined Carolina Speech Pathology in January 2013 and enjoys the company because it offers a great work-life balance for a mom of 2. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and having family dance parties.

Sharon
Human Resources | Office Manager
Sharon attended Northern Essex Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Administrative Assistant Sciences. Her career has centered around helping executives and health care professionals efficiently run their business. Sharon enjoys wearing many hats in the administrative environment and gets most pleasure working with health care providers, such as Carolina Speech Pathology LLC, who put patient care first. During her free time you will usually find her on the lake getting her toes wet or in the garden getting her hands dirty.

Corey
Field Operations Manager
Corey attended both Wake Technical Community College and North Carolina State University. They studied Biological Life Sciences and Anthropology before finding their career in Operations Management in 2018. They are most passionate about using data and analytics to help the team grow and celebrate success along the way!  In their spare time Corey enjoys traveling with their wife, hiking with their dogs, cooking, gardening, and pottery.

Christina
Administrative Assistant
Christina received her associates degrees in Medical Assisting and Business Administration. She has extensive experience with rehab operations and procedures in the skilled nursing setting. She has lived all over the country, even half way around the world in Guam. She loves spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring new hiking trails, and hanging out with friends.

Suzette
Patient Scheduler
Suzette received her Business Data Entry diploma and has worked in the field for many years in different capacities such as Medical Surgery Scheduler and Software Administrative Assistant. Suzette is also a certified Wake County Public School substitute teacher. Originally from West Palm Beach Florida, Suzette loves warm weather and spends as much time at the beach as she can.

Amanda
Field Operations Coordinator
Amanda attended Pitt Community College and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and studied Business Management and Computer Programming. She was a data analyst for 5 years prior to joining Carolina Speech Pathology as a Field Operations Coordinator. She loves thrifting and antiquing, crafting, and most importantly spending time with her two dogs Elliot and Oliver.

Andrea has been working in health care for over 10 years and is currently attending Wake Tech Community College for her Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Human Resources. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her boys, and trying different restaurants and food with her husband.

Alissa

Alissa attended MUSC for graduate school and Clemson University for undergrad.  She has been a practicing SLP since 2002 and adores working with adults and geriatrics.  She loves travel, never meets a stranger, is always trying to increase the biodiversity in her yard, is often snuggling her four felines, and loves spending time with her husband and daughter.

April
M.A. CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
April attended the University of Florida where she received her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Over the last several years she has worked with adults throughout Georgia and North Carolina in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient and skilled nursing. April now resides back in Florida with her husband and daughter and enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the Sunshine State offers.

Barbie
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Barbie completed her undergraduate studies at Delta State University followed by graduate school at The University of Southern Mississippi. Her experience includes skilled nursing facilities, home health, outpatient and acute care settings. During her 14 years in the hospital setting her caseload varied from NICU to geriatrics and everything in between. Barbie has vast experience with MBS and FEES. She loves learning about the human body and providing education to patients while giving them a glimpse inside their body with FEES. She enjoys time with her husband, daughter, dachshund and corgi.

Bree

Bree graduated from Valdosta State University in 2016 with her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has experience in inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, SNF, and acute care where she provided MBSS and FEES. She is a new mom and loves to spend her free time with husband and daughter. She also enjoys reading and eating at restaurants in Savannah.

Brittany
M.E.d, CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist | Clinical Lead
Brittany received her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University in 2009, and her graduate degree from North Carolina Central University in 2011. Since graduating, Brittany has worked with veterans at the Durham VA Medical Center in the acute and outpatient setting as well as a staff therapist in the skilled nursing facility setting. She became FEES competent in 2014 and assisted her facility with continued development of their FEES program. During her free time, Brittany enjoys riding her peloton, going on walks with her golden doodle Millie, and spending time with her two kids and husband.

Cali graduated from the University of West Georgia with both her bachelors and masters degree. She has worked as an SLP since 2019 in multiple medical settings where she found her love for dysphagia and FEES. When not working Cali enjoys reading, cooking, cuddling her rescue dog Cooper and watching football games at UWG where her husband is a Strength and Conditioning coach.

Caroline

After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Caroline settled down in Atlanta to begin her career in acute care. She has focused her career on providing high quality dysphagia diagnostics and treatment. Caroline values keeping up to date on the ever-growing field of dysphagia research and has enjoyed running her SLP journal club since 2020. In her free time, both Caroline and her husband enjoy cooking international cuisine, playing tennis, and playing pickleball.

Catherine
M.A., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Catherine has worked for over 25 years as a medical SLP. She loves meeting Carolina Speech Pathology’s wonderful clients and loves the satisfaction of giving new information for plan of care needs. Assessment has always been her favorite aspect of speech-language pathology. Formerly a resident of the much flatter landscape of Indiana, she now navigates the hills and hollers of SW Virginia enjoying the landscape. When cooling her heels at home, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hanging out with her 2 dogs, hiking, and practicing her new past times of sewing and sailing.

Catherine

Cass obtained her Master’s Degree from Loyola University Maryland. Since graduating, she has primarily served adults in acute care, LTACH, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Cass has performed FEES since 2016, primarily in acute care. She enjoys gardening, crochet, camping, and photography.

Dana
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Dana received her undergraduate and master’s degrees from East Carolina University. She’s originally from Pittsburgh but has spent most of her life in NC. She has worked in skilled nursing and acute care settings, and has been competent in FEES since 2017. Dana is passionate about empowering clinicians, patients, and families to make informed decisions related to safety, comfort, and quality of life. You can usually find her listening to a podcast and hanging out with her husband and two young sons.

Hilary
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Hilary received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from West Texas A&M University. She has been a practicing SLP in the inpatient rehabilitation setting and acute care setting since 2011 and has been performing FEES since 2015. Hilary’s areas of interest include dysphagia in the adult population and feeding in the Neonatal ICU. In her spare time, Hilary loves traveling, snowboarding, being outdoors, and spending time with family.

Honna
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Honna received her undergraduate degree from Davidson College in NC in 2008, where she was a 4 year athlete for the women’s basketball team. She received her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2010. Honna has been a practicing SLP in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings since 2010 and has been performing FEES since 2012. In 2013, she helped develop and implement an outpatient FEES program at Mission Hospital’s SECU Cancer Center in Asheville, NC. Honna currently lives in Johnson City, TN. She enjoys running, photography, reading, spending time with her husband and 2 girls, and visiting the farm she grew up on in Riceville, TN.

Jackie
M.A., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Jackie attended Loyola College in Maryland as an undergraduate. She received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2006. Her love for FEES began during her CFY while working in the LTACH setting. Since then she has worked in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing. She currently lives in Maryland and enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her family.

Katrina
M.A., CCC-SLP, BCS-S | Speech Pathologist
Katrina recently moved to Virginia from Arizona and is loving the water and the weather! After completing her Clinical Fellowship in the VA system in San Antonio, TX, she has spent her career prior to joining CSP in the acute care setting at a large hospital in Phoenix. There, she specialized in the care of trauma, neuro, lung transplant, and Neonatal ICU patients. She is passionate about the power of instrumental exams in helping patients understand and overcome their swallowing impairments. In her spare time, you can find Katrina with her husband, human children, and fur children exploring the outdoors, enjoying local restaurants, or dancing in their kitchen.

Laura
M.Ed., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Laura received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Valdosta State University. She has worked in a variety of settings, both adult and pediatric, since 2010 throughout Colorado, the US Virgin Islands and Georgia. Laura began practicing FEES in 2014 and joined CSP because of their focus on patient care and clinician excellence. When she isn’t working, you can find Laura attending Auburn football games (War Eagle!), traveling, or cuddling on the couch with her basset hound Carl.

Lauryn
M.A., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Lauryn graduated with a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. Her work experience includes acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and long-term acute care, with a focus on dysphagia diagnostics and intervention. Lauryn joined CSP in 2018 and shares the company’s passion of providing access to swallowing instrumentation to patients across the region. In her spare time, Lauryn enjoys practicing calligraphy, rock climbing and traveling – especially to her home state of Florida.

Lexie
M. Ed., CCC-SLP | Speech Language Pathologist
Lexie is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Virginia in 2006 earning her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at The University of Virginia (2010, 2012). Most of her career has been spent in level I trauma hospitals in which she developed a passion for diagnostic dysphagia and mentoring students and novice clinicians. When not with Carolina Speech Pathology or at the hospital, Lexie can be found cheering for Ohio football teams with her husband and their dog Gracie.

Lyndsay
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist | Brand Manager
Lyndsay received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and her Master’s degree from The University of Texas – Dallas. She went into her graduate program thinking that she would specialize in pediatrics, but it only took one clinical experience for her to realize that her true calling is working with adults. She has worked across the medical continuum in acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient. Lyndsay participated in a Carolina Speech Pathology course during her initial FEES training in 2013 and is thrilled to have since become a part of the Carolina Speech team. Lyndsay takes dining out, cooking, and good food very seriously – which are big reasons why she loves helping others with their eating and swallow function!

Melinda
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Melinda earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University. She began her career in inpatient and outpatient rehab, but most of her experience has been in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. She resides in Red Oak, NC with her husband and 2 precious daughters. Melinda enjoys spending time and being silly with her family, being involved with church, and vacationing (especially at Disney)!

Richard
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Richard attended the University of South Alabama where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Science Disorders. He has been practicing since 1999 specializing in neurologic conditions with adults in both inpatient and outpatient rehab settings. Richard has been performing FEES since 2014. Away from work you might find him enjoying good food, taking a hike, or occasionally playing a harmonica.

Rita
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Rita obtained her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Loyola University in Maryland in 2001. After her clinical fellowship, Rita became a traveling therapist providing SLP services all across the country. She’s worked in acute care, LTAC, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and SNF settings. Prior to joining CSP in March 2018, Rita served as a clinical program consultant providing dysphagia education and consulting with SLPs on dysphagia treatment. In her spare time, Rita and her husband enjoy traveling and scuba diving.

Tabitha
M.S., CCC-SLP | Speech Pathologist
Tabitha completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida in 2010 (go Gators!) and went on to earn her graduate degree at the University of South Florida in 2013. She has experience in short term rehab, long term care, outpatient and inpatient rehab, and most recently, acute care where she provided MBSS and FEES. Tabitha enjoys providing mobile FEES services to patients and providers in rural areas that might otherwise have limited access to instrumentation. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Taylor

Taylor attended the University of Virginia for both undergrad and graduate studies for communication sciences and disorders (go HOOS). She has been a practicing SLP since 2009, focusing primarily on trach/ vent patients and performing FEES for dysphagia diagnoses.  When not with CSP or working at her hometown hospital, Taylor can be found with her husband and their three kids on the sideline of whatever sport is in season.

Taylor

Taylor earned her master’s degree in 2016 and since that time has practiced in the acute care setting, primarily with neurology, trauma, and cardiothoracic surgery populations. She is passionate about dysphagia assessment and intervention and loves to learn about the ways each body system can impact swallowing. When she is not working as an SLP, Taylor enjoys being with her husband (also named Taylor) and daughter (not named Taylor), traveling, working on interior design projects, thrifting, exercising, and playing piano.

Tracy

Tracy graduated from Valdosta State University in 2001 and has practiced in hospital, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. She became FEES competent in 2006 and for seven years worked in Long Term Acute Care where she developed a love for working with ventilator and trach patients. Happily married to her high school sweetheart, Tracy loves spending time with her two beautiful children, reading, and cooking. Tracy joined CSP in 2015 and loves working with a team dedicated to improving the lives of the patients they serve.

Vanessa

Vanessa is originally from New Jersey but graduated from Loyola University in 2006. She began her career in acute care with the adult population until 2016 when she joined CSP. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside, soccer, and riding the Peloton.  But most of all she loves spending time with her husband, two kids, and her dog.

Wendi attended University of Florida for graduate school. She has been practicing since 2004, working primarily in the acute care and inpatient rehab settings, focusing on dysphagia and brain injury. She began completing FEES in 2006 working in both Florida and then California. She now resides in Florida, keeping up with her three children and enjoying the outdoors.

Wynne

Wynne earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa. Following graduation, she moved to Connecticut where she began practicing as an SLP in 2008 and began practicing FEES in 2010. Wynne’s areas of interest include dysphagia, cleft lip and palate and voice/motor speech disorders. In her spare time, Wynne likes to crochet, hike, travel and spoil her cat, Pete.

John

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a degree in History. Since then he has worked in a variety of sales roles – with an ultimate passion for senior care. A former college athlete, John is a diehard Steelers and Penguins fan. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, live music, and hiking with his dog Rocker.

Natalie
M.Ed., CCC-SLP | Account Executive
Natalie is an Atlanta native and a “Double Dawg” with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech Pathology from the University of Georgia. She has been a practicing medical SLP in the acute care and inpatient rehab hospital settings since 2011, with a focus on brain injury, strokes and head and neck cancer. She fell in love with FEES in her 2015 Carolina Speech Pathology course and ultimately was drawn to a career at CSP due to the culture and value they place on evidence-based practice. In her free time, Natalie enjoys travel, yoga, hiking, cooking, photography or a good concert. Natalie is passionate about helping others and is excited to be in a role where she can assist other clinicians with providing the absolute best care for their patients with dysphagia!

Kelly
M.S. CCC-SLP | Account Executive
Kelly is a proud born and raised Texan, graduating with her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Texas Woman’s University. She worked as a SLP-Assistant since 2010 and a CCC-SLP since 2015. She has worked in a variety of settings with different populations and finds the the adult population fascinating! Kelly has enjoyed and admired her interaction with CSP so much, she was thrilled to join the CSP team in 2023. When not working, Kelly loves helping her son learn Spanish, rooting on her Dallas Stars, and challenging her husband to a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ battle.

Michael is a Maryland native currently living in Baltimore City. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2019 with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business. Michael has spent his time since graduation building a career in sales within a wide variety of fields. Being someone who thrives to build connections with people, Michael was drawn immediately to the culture and vision of CSP and couldn’t wait to join the team. In his free time Michael loves to golf, camp, read and spend time with his friends outside as much as possible.

Heather
M.S. CCC-SLP | Account Executive
Heather was born and raised in New Jersey, graduating from Stockton University for both Bachelors and Masters degrees. In her time at Stockton she played softball. She has been a practicing SLP since 2013 and has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, and home health. In 2021, travel therapy landed Heather in North Carolina where she now resides with her fiance Jon and dog Nala. She enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
