Stuart Bradley, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner & Founder, Carolina Speech Pathology, LLC

Stuart is a University of Redlands graduate who has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 1992. He founded CSP in 1996 in order to bring FEES® services to patients’ bedside. He is an accomplished geek specializing in software and TV production.

Cindy Bradley, RN, BSN

Operations & Finance

Has worked her entire professional career in the field of healthcare. Her current role entails oversight of the daily financial operations of Carolina Speech Pathology, LLC. Cindy is a running enthusiast, and specializes in coupon utilization.

Kristin Waltman, M.S., CCC-SLP

Chief of Operations

Graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Kristin has been a practicing SLP since 1999 working with adults and specializing in traumatic brain injury. Kristin joined CSP in 2008. She enjoys working for CSP because everybody is passionate about providing quality care to patients. Kristin lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and 3 boys. She spends most of her spare time at a baseball field rooting for her sons’ teams.

Todd Anderson

Director of Sales and Corporate Accounts

Bringing to the table over fifteen years of sales and marketing experience, Todd began his career in Insurance upon graduation from the University of Arkansas (at Little Rock). After a couple of years he transitioned into, then honed his experience in Information Technology sales where he stayed until 2013. So why did Todd come to CSP? “It was an opportunity to work with a lot of great people and for the absolute best company in our industry; and the service we provide has tremendous value.” When not working, Todd tries to spend as much time as possible outdoors kayaking, hiking, camping and mountain biking.

Selena Reece, MS, CCC-SLP, BCS-S

Director of Educational Resources

Selena has worked in the field of Medical Speech Pathology with extensive FEES® and MBS experience since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Selena joined CSP in 2009 and since then she has taken on the role of Director of Educational Resources. She is passionate about coordinating high-quality, evidence-based, educational opportunities for SLPs while continuing to carry an active patient caseload. She has provided FEES training all over the country. Selena became a Board Certified Specialist in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders in 2015.  Selena resides in Downtown Raleigh, NC with her husband and son. Her interests include: travel, yoga, CrossFit, food, wine, beer, and music.

Kristin Sears-Kopp, M.S., CCC-SLP

Director of Clinical Services

Kristin attended Temple University for graduate school and the University of Pittsburgh for undergrad. She has been a practicing SLP since 2002, working with children and adults with dysphagia and feeding disorders in acute care and outpatient settings. She joined Carolina Speech Pathology in January 2013 and enjoys the company because it offers a great work-life balance for a mom of 2. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running and having family dance parties.

Sharon Gonthier

Executive Assistant / Office Manager

Sharon attended Northern Essex Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Administrative Assistant Sciences.  Her career has centered around helping executives and health care professionals efficiently run their business.  Sharon enjoys wearing many hats in the administrative environment and gets most pleasure working with health care providers, such as Carolina Speech Pathology LLC, who put patient care first.  During her free time you will usually find her on the lake getting her toes wet or in the garden getting her hands dirty.

Christina Murphy

Administrative Assistant

Christina received her associates degree in Medical Assisting and Business Administration. She has extensive experience with rehab operations and procedures in the skilled nursing setting. She has lived all over the country, even half way around the world in Guam. Her hobbies include photography, hiking with her husband and dogs, and spending time with family.

Kitty Jones

Field Operations Coordinator

Kitty has provided customer support and team management for over 20 years.  She believes that no matter the industry you are in, the people are what truly matter.  She came to CSP excited to help provide support to our SLPs in the field.  Kitty’s passions are serving in Student Ministry, photography and reading.

Emilee Robb

Field Operations Coordinator

Emilee studied Early Childhood Education and held positions as a Teacher and Director at a children’s enrichment center. She brings to CSP a strong administrative background in building interpersonal relationships, developing schedules, and teaching team building skills. Emilee has a passion for brain development and how children learn, beach music and Motown. She loves to spend time with her 3 children at the ball field and on the beach.

Maria White

Field Operations Coordinator

Maria earned her degree in English Education and spent many years teaching middle and high school students. Maria comes to Carolina Speech Pathology with a strong passion for helping others, as she is always eager to assist her co-workers in any capacity. In her spare time she enjoys baking, live music, and traveling with her son.

Deanna Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Deanna attended East Carolina University, where she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has been a practicing SLP since 2002 specializing in dysphagia, stroke, trach/vent and traumatic brain injury in acute care and rehab settings. Deanna has been performing FEES® since 2007. Being from the coast, she enjoys the beach and water sports, but is extremely terrified of jellyfish.

Honna Mincey, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Honna received her undergraduate degree from Davidson College in NC in 2008, where she was a 4 year athlete for the women’s basketball team. She received her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2010. Honna has been a practicing SLP in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings since 2010 and has been performing FEES since 2012. In 2013, she helped develop and implement an outpatient FEES program at Mission Hospital’s SECU Cancer Center in Asheville, NC. Honna currently lives in Atlanta, GA and enjoys running, mountain biking, and visiting her family on the farm she grew up on in Riceville, TN.

Vanessa Peregrim, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCS-S

Speech Pathologist

Vanessa is originally from New Jersey but graduated from Loyola University in 2006. She began her career in acute care with the adult population until 2016 when she joined CSP. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, soccer, and paddle boarding. But most off all she loves spending time with her dog, Diego.

April Fletcher, M.A. CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

April attended the University of Florida where she received her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Over the last several years she has worked with adults throughout Georgia and North Carolina in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient and skilled nursing. April now resides back in Florida with her husband and daughter and enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the Sunshine State offers.

Tracy Lucas, M. Ed., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Tracy graduated from Valdosta State University in 2001 and has practiced in hospital, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. She became FEES competent in 2006 and for seven years worked in Long Term Acute Care where she developed a love for working with ventilator and trach patients. Happily married to her high school sweetheart, Tracy loves spending time with her two beautiful children, reading, and cooking. Tracy joined CSP in 2015 and loves working with a team dedicated to improving the lives of the patients they serve.

Wynne Patterson, M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Wynne earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa. Following graduation, she moved to Connecticut where she began practicing as an SLP in 2008 and began practicing FEES in 2010.  Wynne’s areas of interest include dysphagia, cleft lip and palate and voice/motor speech disorders. In her spare time, Wynne likes to crochet, hike, travel and spoil her cat, Pete.

Melinda Rackley, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Melinda earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University. She began her career in inpatient and outpatient rehab, but most of her experience has been in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. She resides in Red Oak, NC with her husband and 2 precious daughters. Melinda enjoys spending time and being silly with her family, being involved with church, and vacationing (especially at Disney)!

Laura Yelvington, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Laura received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Valdosta State University. She has worked in a variety of settings, both adult and pediatric, since 2010 throughout Colorado, the US Virgin Islands and Georgia. Laura began practicing FEES in 2014 and joined CSP because of their focus on patient care and clinician excellence. When she isn’t working, you can find Laura attending Auburn football games (War Eagle!), traveling, or cuddling on the couch with her basset hound Carl.

Elizabeth Crookshank, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

After earning her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Baylor University in 2010 and 2011, Elizabeth returned to Virginia where she began her SLP career in skilled nursing rehab, long term care and outpatient settings. Transitioning to acute care in 2013, Elizabeth further expanded her passion for dysphagic patients, ultimately joining our CSP team in 2017. Apart from work, she enjoys distance running and training for marathons in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Tracy Erwin, MSP, CCC-SLP.

Speech Pathologist

Tracy received a Masters of Speech Pathology from the University of South Carolina in 2002. Her work has been focused in a variety of medical settings, including acute care, hospital outpatient, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and a long term acute care hospital. Tracy became FEES competent in 2006. She values time with her family, and enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and temperatures above 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Brittany Beaver, M. Ed., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Brittany received her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University in 2009, and her graduate degree from North Carolina Central University in 2011. Since graduating, Brittany has worked with veterans at the Durham VA Medical Center in the acute and outpatient setting as well as a staff therapist in the skilled nursing facility setting. She became FEES competent in 2014 and assisted her facility with continued development of their FEES program. During her free time she enjoys being with her husband, daughter, and Goldendoodle Millie.

Kristen Cline, MA, CCC-SLP, BCS-S

Speech Pathologist

Kristen completed her undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill and her graduate degree at Appalachian State University. She has practiced medical speech pathology in the acute and inpatient rehab settings and has been trained in FEES since 2004. Kristen obtained Board Certification in Swallowing & Swallowing Disorders in 2012. Kristen is proud of the service provided by CSP and enjoys working with the amazing professionals in the company. Kristen lives in Newton with her husband and 4 boys. She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family, and cheering for the UNC Tarheels!

Rita Freydel McMahon, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Rita obtained her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Loyola University in Maryland in 2001. After her clinical fellowship, Rita became a traveling therapist providing SLP services all across the country. She’s worked in acute care, LTAC, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and SNF settings. Prior to joining CSP in March 2018, Rita served as a clinical program consultant providing dysphagia education and consulting with SLPs on dysphagia treatment. In her spare time, Rita and her husband enjoy traveling and scuba diving.

Ann Lindblad, M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Ann earned her Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing in 2005 from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She also holds a Master’s degree in English from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ann joins Carolina Speech Pathology after working the past 11 years in acute care. She also has acute rehab experience. Apart from work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Lyndsay Parker, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Lyndsay received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and her Master’s degree from The University of Texas – Dallas. She went into her graduate program thinking that she would specialize in pediatrics, but it only took one clinical experience for her to realize that her true calling is working with adults. She has worked across the medical continuum in acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient. Lyndsay participated in a Carolina Speech Pathology course during her initial FEES training in 2013 and is thrilled to have since become a part of the Carolina Speech team. Lyndsay takes dining out, cooking, and good food very seriously – which are big reasons why she loves helping others with their eating and swallow function!

Heather Smith Bishop, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Pathologist

Heather received her undergraduate and graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Duquesne University.  Heather joined CSP in 2014. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, rehab and outpatient (adults and pediatrics). Heather enjoys traveling, running, rock climbing and water skiing.

Jules Price, M.S., CCC-SLP

Sales Specialist

Jules has been practicing SLP in large acute care venues, long term acute care hospitals and intensive inpatient rehabilitation units since 2003. She recently served at Appalachian State University on the Clinical Faculty and developed the FEES® program from the ground up. She has been FEES® competent since 2006. She is actively learning a new skill set and enjoying working in customer service and sales in North Carolina and Virginia while meeting customers and new business partners. She has a special interest in dysphagia and is passionate about Carolina Speech Pathology and what our awesome team has to offer. She is into yoga, cooking, traveling and is known to throw a serious Halloween party

John Ryan

Sales Specialist

John grew up in Massachusetts and has been living in Georgia since 2004. While he’s switched accents slightly, he still uses “wicked” as an adjective from time to time. Prior to joining CSP, John worked in several positions helping people receive treatment and recover from substance abuse disorders. That same compassion and desire to help others is why he makes a great fit with Carolina Speech Pathology. When John isn’t working, eating or sleeping, you can probably find him on a golf course somewhere.

Marisa Dunkel, MA, CCC-SLP

Sales Specialist

Marisa attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate and graduate studies in speech-language pathology. Go Gators! She dedicated the early part of her career to working in the hospital setting, as she is passionate about the evaluation and rehabilitation of patients with cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders. Marisa decided to join Carolina Speech Pathology’s team to help promote access to quality patient care and improve the lives of those suffering from dysphagia. She is eager to continue her growth as a clinician and sales specialist! In her spare time, Marisa enjoys going to the dog beach with her handsome black lab (and husband!), trying new brunch spots, shopping at Homegoods, and taking photos!

Kirsten Jones

Sales Specialist

Kirsten attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County where she majored in Health Administration and Public Policy and was a Division 1 Track and Field athlete. After graduation Kirsten worked as an account manager in the health care field providing solutions and efficiencies for doctors and patients. She joined Carolina Speech Pathology in March 2018 to be part of a growing business and awesome health care team. In her free time she loves to volunteer with her non-profit organization, bake tasty treats, and spend time with friends and family.

John George

Sales Specialist

John was born and raised in Southwestern Pennsylvania and attended Bethany College in West Virginia. There he majored in History and was a Defensive Back on the football team. He then transferred to California University of Pennsylvania to pursue a Masters of Education. Following graduation, John decided to pursue a sales career and was a sales manager for several years before joining CSP in May 2018. The move was motivated by a passion for helping others and a desire to improve patient care throughout the region. In his free time John enjoys cycling, hiking with his dog Rocker, and dedicating time to his Non-Profit. John is also a complete “Yinzer” and is a die hard Pittsburgh sports fan!
